This is genuinely sad news for the Steem community. 😔

After around 8 years, TipU was more than just a bot/service for many users — it became part of the everyday Steem experience and helped create interactions and rewards around the community.

What makes this announcement interesting to me is the bigger question it raises:

How can Steem preserve the community value created by long-running projects when those projects eventually become unsustainable?

I think this is an important discussion for Steem's future. Projects may come and go, but the lessons they leave behind can help the next generation of Steem applications become stronger.
