STEEM is for entrepreneurs. Looking to survive in a long term hustle! If you are not ready, work on it or leave. Maybe come back when you have more motivation. If you are in the content business, which is a crucial part of almost any business, then you will have to understand a few things. Making money online is not that easy. But with the right attitude, it can be done by anyone.
FOR EVERYONE
Thanks to STEEM, now anyone can earn at least something for the content they produce online. I am not here to discuss how other Social Media websites like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter etc. making money from the content you create. Some people are making serious cash using these platforms, that's true, but not all. Come to STEEM, everyone has a chance.
How newbies can succeed. Don't be a fish anymore!
How do you succeed? If you know "Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, he says, "I became successful by becoming the most-hardworking man in the industry".
Work Hard. That's what you have to do here. It's not a quick rich scheme! Very simple.
No Zero days and you are GOD. Every project/person that posts everyday, a single blog or even a single comment has an opportunity to take something of the reward pool. It's there for the taking, you just have to do.
Find your Community. I have found four for myself - @smg, @steem-ambassador, @oracle-d and @promo-mentors. I connect with the people a lot and I love them. I am planning to meet most of them, someday, face to face, if not all. You grow with people. “When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.” [ref: GOT]
Presentation is the Key. Crap sold with a ribbon would sell like hot pancakes. But that doesn't mean you start posting crap with sprinkles all around. I am saying everything that looks good, sells! So why not format your masterpiece properly and make it MEGA-Masterpiece.
Use Images and Memes. It boosts readability of your piece. People are going to remember you or at least what you showed to them.
Comment & Comment. This is the most valuable advice I can give to anyone in the content industry. Engagement in 2018 and beyond means commenting. If you have spent time reading, upvoting or resteeming someone's piece, drop in a juicy comment to. Helps you get more followers, upvotes and rewards.
Just remember - Rewards are low but not ZERO

Such a great perspective! I loved the quote from Dwayne Johnson, such an important reminder about hard work. In order to achieve success, you have to be willing to work harder than anyone else and do the things that no one else is willing to do. Love it!

Thanks my dear,such a great content you have written.Steem price is low but I hope it will climb up soon and at the end of this year we will get tot make a good benefit out of it.
Almost everything you have said here is true.Many people join steemit but they give up because they think it is a place of making easy money.It takes time to build up reputation and network.
I try to maintain no zero.Always post at least one blog and post a lot of comments.I am not earning a lot but I making every opportunity work.
