Will Board Games Transition to BLOCKCHAIN Games? ~ #migrationmars
My buddy and the company he works for are at it again in bringing a really cool product to market. This time it's a board game called 'Migration Mars'.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it:
Seems like a really cool game idea to me, and sci-fi really isn't my bag. But I can definitely see this game morphing into a Blockchain game, similar to Splinterlands, Drug Wars, etc. Play with your friends, or a random assortment of people from all over the world, and win STEEM!
What are your thoughts on this game idea? They did achieve their Kick-starter goal of $10,000 in less than 70 minutes, which is a good indication it might do well. You can check that out here. As of now they are sitting right above 17K. Good for them!
Where and how do you think Blockchain will propel games like this in the future?
Thanks for reading and Steem on!

I don't think the blockchain is the best option for tabletop games. Tabletop Simulator is passable for an online board game representation, but not a substitute.
Thanks for chiming in man. I know you really like board games and the like, so your opinion on this matter is highly regarded. Haven't heard of tabletop simulator, but I can take a gander at what it is.
It's on Steam, and I have played Fluxx and Secret Hitler a lot on it.
Gotta have some board games for when the grid goes down. 😎
Wow, $10,000 in 70 minutes?! I guess I'm not sure how that compares to other kickstarters, but it seems good to me.
That's very, very good. Especially considering that was their goal.
Yeah, that's pretty impressive. Sitting at $19K now. I hope it keeps going.
Tried backing it, but Kickstarter is being a butt and won't let me put in my payment information. Bummer...
For real??? Lame, maybe give it a lil bit and try again. I'm guessing with the massive influx of people wanting in, it can't handle it? IDK, I'll let him know though.
Nah, I went into the account settings and tried saving it in my profile. KS just being KS, I guess...
