interesting...steemit is flawed in many ways however better in a few....a great place to attempt serious information and money making....not easy for the little guy seems to be the norm. I see from the start the ups and downs...not sure how soon that will change, it may always be this volatile.

Steem is definitely a great place, but it's in an early adopter stage right now.
I like to look at Steem the same way I look at Youtube when it was in it's early days. So many people started making videos on Youtube because they thought they could get rich. They soon learned that It took some strategy and a lot of hard work to make it on Youtube.
Steem is relatively easy at this point to grow your account, but give it another year or two and the big bums rush will flood Steem. Most will flood the network with garbage posts, spam, and other crap, get nowhere and then leave. A few will figure it out and make money. No different than Youtube in that regard.
Then there's facebook where everyone works for free to make shareholders their money through advertisement revenue. Anything is better than that.
