We have the clients we deserve

Have you ever stopped to think why we have certain types of clients and not others? If your area is sales, service or any other professional area, it is not by chance that we get certain types of clients. The type of clients is proportional to who we are, how we work and how clearly we communicate our value.

It all starts with us, the clients that come to us are the result of the approach we put into the things we do, the attitude we present and the way we position ourselves in the labor market. If we are offering quality, trust and above all commitment, we will logically attract this type of clients who value those same things. But what would happen if we neglect customer service or are simply inconsistent and unclear with what we offer? "You already know the answer very well."

It is very important that we establish client standards, that we ask ourselves questions like: what kind of client do I want? Do I really want to work with those clients who value my work and are willing to pay what it is really worth? I think it is very important that we start from that point, we must define what types of clients we want to attract and in this way establish the limits clearly, do you want to have many clients or the right clients?

Have you noticed that you are attracting problematic clients lately? It is important that we work on our language and the type of communication we use. It often happens that we bring in problematic clients because we simply do not work clearly on transmitting our value or the benefits we are offering. If we want to attract the clients we want to serve, we must clearly communicate what we are doing and what sets us apart from the rest. We must also show confidence in what we are offering and be consistent and upright in our message. If we are transmitting confidence and professionalism, the right clients will begin to seek us out.

It is important that you work proactively on constant improvement. This implies that we take charge of the clients we serve since they are the clients we deserve according to everything we are doing and what we are not doing. If we are not satisfied with the clients we have today, it is really an opportunity to reflect and work on ourselves. We can ask ourselves the following questions: Am I communicating my value correctly? Am I really consistent with what I promise and what I am doing?

Always remember that success does not come about by luck or chance, success is the result of a lot of work well done, working on clear strategies and the ability to learn from mistakes and failures.

If we want to have other types of clients, we simply have to work on ourselves, we must rethink these questions and change the course of the river, let's look for those clients who value what we do, who help us grow and those whom we really want to help. This is not about attracting just anyone but the right people and that starts with ourselves.
