The main Steemit account was sent more than 14 million STEEM since they were the only ones that laid claim to that portion of the STEEM sent to Bittrex roughly two years as part of the contentious hard fork...
The rest is still being decided in court...
It ended up being sent to Binance. No word on whether it was sold off for something else or if it's just being held there.
Yea the price dropped pretty significantly right around the time of that transfer, I would assume that steem was dumped...
