RE: More Great Things to Come

Haha, I've seen your bitching and downvoting on STEEM for a long time. A bit of a hypocrite aren't you?

I don't have the right to complain about the investment that's about to tank because some self-indulgent shithead decided to play god?

Don't worry about it, you're no great loss.

In my day we'd beat his ass for using hobo culture to market his bullshit.
But, now that the duke is dead and gone from popular memory, I just smdh, and ig him.

I've never been a believer in downvotes. I downvoted almost never, so you're just saying bullshit. Its you and your gang of assholes that went around pissing people off all the time.

But it really shows how terrible you all are. I would disagree with you and others but I've always aimed to be polite with you. When I differ in view, thinking that the attitude you all show is not honorable all of a suddenly I am the enemy. Ridiculous mob of nobodies. Steem was going nowhere with you all running it and Hive will go nowhere.

You literally opinion downvoted my comment. Hypocrite confirmed.

It doesn't matter now. I've reached the acceptance phase now on this new era for steem. Only upvotes from here on in. Enjoy!

And I explained the downvote. It was a joke, not one I go around doing. But I did it because you are such a pro-flag type of person. So, I coin flipped. Don't take that out of context.

Please don't upvote me, it feels dirty.

I don't opinion downvote. It's simply amazing that in an exchange such as this you could actively downvote someone you converse with and still attempt to claim the moral high ground. Hipocrisis Maxumus!

Voting up or down is always based on opinion and whim. Even if you create a set of rules, you're still making those rules and punishing people based on your opinion of what should or should not happen.

I'll gladly use downvotes toward people that continue to spend time on Steem while being anti-Steem. It simply makes no sense not to do that for me. You're all going to dump, so why not use my free downvotes to reduce that dump whatever small amount I am able?

You do the very act that you purport to hate, and you fail to see how that is hypocritical. Your justification that I can't use my 115k in stake how I see fit, because I plan to sell some, while the crux of your argument has been how downvoting is bad, and people should be able to use their stake as they see fit? I still own the right to say and do what I want on this blockchain irrespective of my motivation, do I not? That is what you have been fighting for all along, is it not? Yours does not seem like a principled position, and you just want to have your cake and eat it to.

I care very much to protect your ability to speak freely, but that does not mean I will support you if you act like a dick with that freedom.

You're trying to make me sound like the person without principles, but what am I saying? I never said the fork is a terrible thing, I never said you all don't have the right to do it.

I merely have called out behavior that aims to go after people that are happy to stay here and act as witnesses. I merely spoke out against behavior that seems to me like a disgruntled employee breaking things in the office on their way out. That's unprincipled?

As for the downvotes, my issue with them is that they are antagonistic and I believe are damaging to the objective of building a thriving community. I could argue against downvotes on moral grounds, but my argument has always been that it is a stupid policy from a business perspective.

Now, when people go around insulting and attacking the asset I have on exchanges, that I want to go up, and I can reduce their impact even if only a little by pushing a button, why would I not?

Steemit Inc is a business, and it shows. Steem is not and has never been. It's open source and a fork is a necessary security mechanism in this.
