This is a tremendous project, and I'm hopeful that it wil bring about positive results that will help to punsh the steem ecosystem forward.
But you keep talking about witnesses not having ample time to be involved with this, is like trying to make excuse for them already. I think where the heart is, there also lies the treasure.
It is not an excuse, being a witness takes A LOT of time. Many people still work full time, have a family, AND do all that on top of being a witness.
One (I can't remember exactly which one) witness was ON VACATION outside of the country and had to take an entire day working on stuff when the pre-HF20 glitch happened.
I seriously think you only say that because you don't understand the time and commitment it takes to be a witness and handle everything that is required.
That being said, do you have a question to add? If you want to be critical of the witness' time management, perhaps you would like to ask them a question about it?
Thank you @ericwilson for the clarification. I appreciate your response. Yeah, I have some questions about hivemind, reward pool and SMT. But I don't know if the witnesses are the right people to forward this kind of questions to.
Feel free to ask away. The more questions about the chain the better. Even if they aren't the primary point on those topics they can hopefully give a better explanation than what others may be able to.
