Testing out liquidity pools for coupons in Splinterlands

in #steem6 months ago

The fantastic game Splinterlands on Hive offers prospects for both active and passive revenue. If they have already achieved their return on investment, long-term investors may view this as a passive income potential. Because the game continues to reward players so handsomely, those who are regularly playing it may view it as an active income potential.

Since I own the game's assets and get some passive revenue from them, I play this game more like a passive investor. I have been consistently reinvesting all of my game money. I'm not sure when to cease reinvesting altogether and take gains. Diesel pools are beneficial since we may contribute to the pool and get some passive income. In my opinion, neither selling nor keeping my assets inactive is what I wish to accomplish. I wanted to invest it in something that would allow me to earn money passively because of this.

The position in the Diesel pool right now is shown above. I recently made a SWAP investment.HIVE: Voucher database. I had been sitting on my vouchers for a while, unsure of what to do with them. Since the price of vouchers is now so cheap, I thought today that perhaps I might place them within the pool rather than selling them. I obtained SWAP by selling a portion of the DEC in the account. In order to place VOUCHER within the pool, HIVE assisted. Even if it is now extremely minimal, I believe it is still preferable than doing nothing.

I evaluate my account's performance once a month using this method, and I adjust my strategies appropriately. I haven't moved anything out yet, but I have been adding more to the pools each month. I decided to try VOUCHER within the pool rather than having it idle in my wallet because I heard somewhere that it offers a respectable return when compared to other token pairings.

The payouts for the Diesel pool are, I must admit, mediocre at best. I contribute to the Diesel pool and receive little more than 1000 SPS. The incentives were formerly quite high, but as SPS's price has also dropped somewhat, I would argue that they are now only passably good. Let's hope that SPS is off to a strong start and that asset value increases well.

In my opinion, new opportunities inside the game and an increase in market value are prerequisites for the value of the assets to start rising. Although we had great expectations for SPS, its value is steadily declining and has recently reached some all-time lows. Those days are long gone, but I can vividly recall buying SPS when each token cost one dollar.

The snapshot of my whole asset value in the game is shown above. There is no longer any revenue from the card rentals, and I have ceased renting out my cards. A monthly bonus of around 10,000 DEC is provided by SPS Rentals. I recall witnessing my asset worth soar to $55,000 during a period of exceptional market conditions. That was at the time of SPS's debut. I wish I had purchased my account back today instead of selling it in its entirety back then.
