Bot Applications Migrated to the New Server (Racknerd)
New Server for Bot Applications
I’ve migrated the Steem bot applications — such as the !ask and !thumbup commands — to a new server hosted by RackNerd. I also updated the other five servers so they now point to this new primary server.
These five servers each run a backup Node.js process that monitors the Steem blockchain for comments containing bot commands, then pushes the parsed commands into the MySQL database. Because MySQL enforces primary-key atomicity, transactions won’t be lost even if one or two servers go down, which helps avoid a single point of failure.
