Corona Virus Lockdown And Keeping Spirits High With The Splinterlands Game – Day 43

corona virus day 43.jpg

I ventured out to get some Vitamin drugs which we have been taking to help boost out immune system. They are over the counter drugs like Vitamin C so nothing to worry about. I noticed the law enforcement guys are back mounting road blocks again to check compliance to the laws put in place to fight the corona virus.

I also noticed that the traffic situation is getting chaotic because more people are using their cars instead of using public transportation because they are afraid of contacting the virus since you don’t know who sat on the seat you are sitting on in a public bus.

The number of infected persons are still going up as more test are been done, so also is the number of deaths going up. It can be very scary when you look at the figures sometimes, it is even scarier when you know that the doctors and other health practitioners are doing their best to keep people alive but it just isn’t working. Stay safe people, life is very precious and we all have to do our very best to stay safe, do the right things, stay healthy and keep on praying and believing that we will come out of this alive. Remember to keep staying positive, this is not our end but a new beginning to a new way of life we must adjust to for this time until it is safe again to hug friends and socialize.

I got the Life splinter today and before I went into battle with that splinter I had to go do some upgrading to the max level of some of the monsters I intended using at the peakmonsters website. At this level using the max level is what is worthwhile else you will be placing yourself at a disadvantaged position. I was able to move up in points after completing my daily quest. It was a tough one but I was able to deal hard with my opponents at the battle field to finish off in a positive position.

Daily quest rewards with potion - Day 192.jpg
Rewards day 192

I got nothing special today in the rewards department as I only got one Rare card, some Common cards, some Legendary and some Alchemy potions and a bunch of DECs. The DECs I received wouldn’t have paid for the quest potion if I had bought it so it wasn’t a lost to me, I still got something though it was on the tiny side of things.

You can watch one of my battles by clicking the link below, thanks:

I'm glad you are keeping busy playing Splinterland. DO you still have the rabbits?

Thanks my dear @emergehealthier.

Unfortunately no. After the Christmas and New Year sales things were about picking up when the Corona Virus hit the headline, I follow international news a lot and didn't think it would be a wise decision to continue as if it gets into animals as I was hearing then it would become big problem.

So we continue selling, during the lockdown it became a source of meat for us, so by mid April the last of them had been eaten. It was a life saver for us as things became too expensive when you were able to see them available.

My garden is still doing very well and we are still eating Pawpaw, Water leaf, Bitter leaf, Pumpkin leaf, Rose Apple, Ginger, Turmeric and other stuff.

I am still making traditional herbal tea from my plants and they good at building and boosting immunity which is something we need a lot of right now.

Cheers and regards to your boy.
