Support all steemians
I posted an article the week before last in which I expressed my disappointment and confusion about story rewards. I am still relatively new to the Steemit platform and I am still finding my way around.
A couple of weeks ago my very good friend and fellow Steemer @nikflossus posted a great story which offered Steemers an interactive game of Chess across both the Steem and Golos platforms. However, last week on maturity the post was rewarded with only a few dollars.
This got me thinking. If we all start to recognise great articles that are unfairly rewarded why not share some love and transfer a little of our SBD to those users. This will really enhance the community spirit. Start with your friends and followers. If everyone decides to play ball then your support should be reciprocated, and when you post stories that don't get fairly rewarded you may well receive some Steem support from another user.
I have already started doing this with my followers. Why don't you consider doing the same? Let's make Steemit a real model of hope, intelligence and generosity.

Seems like a fair idea. In my opinion the system already does this but only if you have some followers to upvote your posts. So just keep posting and you and your friend will see substantial rewards after you have a certain number of followers on the platform. For me personally things started to change after some 400-ish followers! Hope this information will be of some value for you on creating a better Steemit experience ;). @rymlen Have you found that there is something about the 400 number...or is that specific to when things started to change for you? I know you said "personally"...but has anyone else mentioned this milestone to you as well?

Let's make Steemit a real model of hope, intelligence and generosity. I believe you will get a very good following by continually doing that. I had conceived an idea tl randomly award a follower for his or her activeness on my post. Its yet to be done. I will add that to the list .
SO @tj4real ....you make a comment...and vote for yourself...yet don't vote for the person who created the content which allows you to vote for yourself, earning you $2.30 in the process.

I reward good content. Now you cant go out and spread you vore anyway you like after the hardfork. Your voting power will deminish before you know it
Yep. I agree with that part. Its just that you are one of the people that appears to be "gaming" the system in some way. I'd bet that you know more about Steemit than I...I can almost guarantee it...but it's obvious that you're gaming the system a bit when those 12 followers that voted for you are the same set of followers I constantly see over and over.
I honestly don't understand what the deal with this set of voters is, but I have been, and will continue to follow that rabbit hole to figure it out.
Go and use esteem to support the project good karma is doing and stop doing the blame game. You move around without reading most post and go around pointing accusing fingers

I understand your point of view on this. And I like your concepts behind it. I, personally, don't quite agree with the premise though.
I think it's a good thing that new Steemers are not rewarded appropriately for the work they've done. I kinda feel like the system is setup to invoke investment into Steemit. Both through purchasing/earning Steem, but more importantly, by causing a person to invest their time....consistently.
This causes users to actively use the site, connecting with others.
THIS is the key...connecting with others...you don't make money until you've connected with the Steemit community.
The more you connect, the more you will earn.
It is a great way to keep people invested in the long run.
Steemit isnt necessarily just about making people money...it's about creating a community and forcing people to connect with one another in order to share info. In my mind, the site creates value by the sharing of information....a crazy valuable asset.
Your post payouts reflect your total involvement with the community, and how that community values your content.
To say that people should just get rewarded for straight quality of work undermines the entire premise behind the creation of Steemit. Half social, half blog. Not 100% blog.
