The last week or so have been pretty normal for me here in New Zealand, lots of walks and some Mountain bike riding as the weather has been fantastic!

Smudge is still running the house and wanted to be the thumbnail for this post.

Over the weekend we travelled 3 or so hours north for my partners Mothers birthday party, we stayed at a Hotel while the kids stayed with the grandparents.

We also need to buy a new Washing machine as the last one just stopped spinning and draining water, could have tried to get it fixed but its was 9 years old so we decided to purchase a new one.

I borrowed a trailer from a mate this morning and went and grabbed it, then i unpacked it and installed it.

After not having a washing machine the pile of dirty clothes was getting bigger, i have done 3 loads so far and it works as it should - cost was $1089 NZD.

Tonight we are having homemade pizza's for dinner with some air fried hot chips, nice and easy way to get the week started dinner wise.
