In 2025 i managed to average 11 kilometers walked per day for the year, for this year i wanted to bump that average up a little and early on this year i settled on a goal of 15 kilometers per day for 2026.

Here is what i did last year which i am happy about as averaging 11 kilometers for a year is pretty good i say.

4000 + kilometers for the year is a great number.

This year so far i have managed to average 15.2 kilometers and have covered nearly 2300 kilometers, today marks the start of Winter here in New Zealand and we should be getting our fair share of rain and crappy weather.

The challenge over Winter will be maintaining my average, there is an option to use an umbrella when its raining and freezing cold.

We have had a really good Autumn with not much rain or wind and some nice sunny days, this has helped me get to half way through the year with my goal still intact.

Anyhoo... for the next 2 weeks i will be working inside another Distribution center which will help getting in some steps while its raining outside.

At least once we are past Winter, the weather will make getting back to or maintaining my 15 kilometers per day for the year more attainable.
