RE: Old Posts Not Valued In Steem/Hive Culture - Why?

in #steem6 years ago

Just for the sake of backing up posts as in storing them, they couldn't be more safe as they are now. Most of our posts are stored on not one but two blockchains. I was thinking more about maximizing their visibility. They are not even properly indexed. Google is your best chance of finding them.

Dude, the image host are separated. Anything before 20th march in Hive points to no where. Only texts are backed up. I have never expect this will happen, I only wanted one blockchain that will store everything I cherish most. Trust me, the text part I already "downthemall" with Mozilla firefox, the only problem now is, I couldn't get the picture in the downloaded webpage.

I know the blockchain does not store any binary data.

Don't you store any of your photos on your own computer or some third party image hosting site?

I have most of the photos. But I wish to have my words to go with the photos at the time I posted them. So I can find back that feeling when I read and see the photos at the same time 🥰
