Hard Fork 20?

Ever since I got active on Steemit last December, there has been talk about the upcoming Hard Fork #20 for Steem.

Bring a #cryptonoob I had to go find out what a hard fork was all about and it took me down a rabbit hole that has helped me to shed some crypto-noobness pretty quickly.

And so this Hard Fork still hasn't taken place. I'm reading about all of the good things that are to come with this fork of the blockchain and how it's going to make Steemit so much better and YAY!!! To all of that. Github is a really good place for getting tech info btw.

....but there still is no release date.

But what I'm really wondering about is when the steemit platform will get out of beta? And is THAT going to be going through any changes with he hard fork. I'm guessing they will have to make some interface updates for some of the new blockchain features that are coming down the pipe but is there anything planned with the steemit site as it is?

All of these curiosities about this fascinating place.
