Facebook is fighting back against Steemit.... Post a Steemit link vs a YouTube link in a reply to comments on a verified page...

So, this happened today... I noticed if you post a steemit link as a reply to a comment on a verified page on Facebook. It will actually flag it as spam. sometimes it will even put a button that says "not spam?" and says thanks for your feedback if you click it.

But try to post the same link from Youtube and everything is hunky dorey! no problems.

I didn't test or play with this too much, So all I could deduce for now was that it is happening on verified pages but it could be more and only to replies of comments? But I don't think it is limited to these scenarios.. There is clearly a smart algorithm going on behind the scenes doing something bad here.

Wow!

I am not surprised. Try using URL shorteners for now.

I'm not surprised either. steemits market cap hit $1 billion during the last bull run

somehow i am thinking it will see through that, as I think it is the preview mechanism that is doing this... But I will try that...

i posted one steem link yesterday to 4 facebook post.. just checked them and they are ok..but i will keep track for sure.. just like big business to try to sty-full a honest social media outlet.

were they replies to comments, or the start of a main thread, and was it a verified page with the blue checkmark?

Start of a main thread... @nanocheeze blue check mark. i have not noticed this before.
