Yep, that's right. The steem dollar as of this posting is worth exactly two US dollars. Pretty crazy.

Seriously the peg isn't working on the high side. What can be done about this? Maybe it's not a big problem, but it does seem strange.
It is my belief that the US dollar will be trash someday (not sure when) and thus Steem dollars..will have to go away? will have to change?
We should add Steem Gold like our Golos friends do, but we still might have this peg problem.

You talk about an external market - but how do you transfer SBD to an exchange? I don't see an option, it's accounts only. I always thought it was internal only, but since Polo has SBD listed there has to be a way...
Yea you can, I would go to the exchange and follow their instructions there, but, for example, there is a user @poloniex here you would send the Steem Dollars to. Be sure to type in that name correctly!

Hey if the dollar goes we can just use the Yuan/Cad/Seashells(kidding). As long as you can buy gold with bitcoin I don't think its a worry, if anything we are more prepared to deal with the dollar imploding than ever before.
