The crazy thing is that if I was a venture capitalist, I would be looking at Steem as a potential gamechanger for building businesses on top of given the technology and its ecosystem already engaging actively. Consider the cost of having a million SP now and even if considering the cost that @ned mentioned for the infrastructure, the returns would be attractive to provide an investment. This is how we need to think about it; in a decentralized fashion working with witnesses to govern accordingly.
