A MARKET
Basically we all know it's a place where people meet to sell and buy now that's true👌🏾
I just want to walk us a bit down memory lane but before I do I just want us to look at a few definitions of a market.
👉🏾A market is a place where parties can gather to facilitate the exchange of goods and services. The parties involved are usually buyers and sellers.
The market may be physical like a retail outlet, where people meet face-to-face, or virtual like an online market, where there is no direct physical contact between buyers and sellers,
Or
👉🏾A market is a composition of systems, institutions, procedures, social relations or infrastructures whereby parties engage in exchange.
From the afore mentioned definitions we can clearly gather that it involves 2 people ie a seller and a buyer meaning without one there's no market.
There must equally be an exchange either in goods or services, there must be someone who's willing to surrender his or her possession or is willing to offer a service to someone who is ready to pay them and this we mean the modern as opposed to the barta era wherein goods were exchanged for goods.
Back in the barta era it was difficult to do business or marketing because you had to carry what you had and move around looking for someone who has what you needed and was equally ready to give up to you in order to get what you had.
This made marketing difficult and at times impossible.
It only existed physically, the seller and buyer had to meet in person but over time money came in and reduced the stress in movement and as time went on the market space got better with technology and today such physical and strainous movement's are almost being completely wiped out.
Goods are are now being delivered at the home of the buyer, there are vehicles to facilitate movement of goods and services and so on.
The most interesting thing today is that we're now able to talk about digital marketing like the crypto currency and most importantly Steemit
It is thanks to Steemit that some of us have been able to raise money for other forms of business and marketing...
The market space just got bigger digital marketing and Steemit.
