Someone Visited Me Last Tuesday!

Hello beautiful Steemians!

We know that I am a Filipino overseas worker (#ofw) working here in Saudi Arabia. Perhaps, some of you know some disgusting situation about the workers here especially the female working as house keeper. We are lucky in the family of my boss or clanin this place. Working here for 27 years are the great proof of how good they are.

Well, there are many changes due to the rising economic crisis, rising bills of electricity and water supply. Before, those were almost free but now, 15% tax hitted their financial status. They are affected and so with us too.

I have a we friend, a maid of the son of my boss.. She told me that she is nit eating 3 times a day as usual we did in the Philippines. She is starving but sacrifice is the key to fulfill our dreams why we came here. All the reasons are for the family back home.

She is now 6 months working here. She was fat before but now she is reducing her weights unintentionally. So when she came here, I let her eat and drink milk.

I am older than her for 13 years but I am looking younger . I didnt notice it until she told and ask me why my face is still young compare to her face. I told her not to mind that appearance but focus how stable her strength , mind and body to fit the work.

She was so grateful that I served her fresh organic soup from the vegetable in my garden here. I planted and harvested some leafy veggies and cooked. What a good timing that she came with here boss so we ate together.

That made me happy!
