I encountered self upvoting first on steemit and thought it is a bit weird. On Facebook or other platforms it always feels kind of being desperate posting something and "liking" it yourself right afterwards :) If you have used the time to write a comment and hit "Post" it is pretty clear that you like your own comment and upvoting is then only for the $$. Or am I mistaken?
