LESSON LEARNED and Great customer service. I attempted to take out a little STEEM and STEEM DOLLARS. Just to see how this works and maybe try to trade a little. My hats off to the support team at Bittrex.com

THE ATTEMPT: I attempted to transfer 102 Steem and 29 Steem Dollars to Bittrex.


NOTE: It was not one hour ago.  This was a screen shot from the 07/27/2016.

THE PROBLEM: I copied the WRONG MEMO line from the Bittrex.com website.


THE FIX:  Send an email to SUPPORT at Bittrex explaining how stupid I am.


FIRST RESPONSE FROM BITTREX SUPPORT:  This was within 30 minutes!


FIRST SEARCH FOR THE CORRECT CURRENCY:  Search for STEEM first.


NOW CLICK ON THE PLUS SIGN:  To copy and paste the CORRECT MEMO.


I DID THAT AND EMAILED SUPPORT BACK:  TODAY IT WAS FIXED!!!

*** They fixed my problem within 24 hours and the STEEM and STEEM DOLLARS were in my account.***

I hope someone gets some value from this and I hope it was simple enough to follow.  

I also hope you do not make the same mistake I did.  The correct memo line is very important.

    thats great and all, but the constant and ongoing "maintainence" there is troubling. Theyve disabled wallets once again, stranding investors, with no announcement and no ETA for resolution.

      its happened several times over the past couple weeks. my personal experience with them has been terrible. theyve posted here before that its to be expected for transactions to just "get lost" and that it happens all the time in btc (which isnt true)... Now that the wallets are down, im sincerely regretting the fact that i procrastinated wrt taking out my money.

      They have great customer service. I filled a ticket on sunday and it was resolved within 2 hours. My hat goes off to them.
