@infobunny I think the bigger news is that Steemit is on the rise :) This means the daily payout pool is worth four times as much as it was yesterday. The earning potential is increasing, but I hope to see many more people come in to share it.
The Steem you make can easily be sold for Bitcoin. Lots of posts about that. Then there are ways to convert that to cash or some shops accept Bitcoin anyway. No minimum like some other sites

@steevc i have no idea how the money side works, i know you get rev for upvotes and creating a buzz but after that i don't know

It's exciting. I've never had such a big stake in anything like this. I realise it could still crash, but it's looking good for now
I think this will grow. It will have it's up and down but I see only great things for Steemit.
It really is a whole new thing and I haven't seen anything that compares with it. We don't need ads to pay people like every other site out there
... and that's only the beginning how rare and great Steemit is.
