RE: "SMTs" Going to be launched on Daybit exchange - Steemhunt, eSteem, Utopian, Actifit, Fundition, Tasteem, Tripsteem, Dclick, nTOPAZ, K-pop Steem, dLike
Many of you think alike, although I can't agree with that completely, I'm well aware that actifit has a good chance of making a good name for itself and establishing a fairly decent price in the coming years.
As for translating rewards into fiat, it could be easier, that I can agree on but it isn't hard whatsoever. Once you sell steem for btc (can easily be done from Steemit.com via accessing blocktrades through the wallet) it's just a matter of selling that btc for cash which shouldn't be a hassle.
I think the real game changer for all of us is when we have a STEEM wallet on the phone that we can use like apple pay.
Agreed!
I disagree with you there. For computer illiterate people with little knowledge of crypo and no knowledge of exchanges moving anything is far from easy. A lot of the exchanges don't have steem and some of the ones that do don't have easy fiat deposits not to mention charges in between all of these moves. I use kraken to deposit as it takes bank transfers with no fees and then have to move that to binance to buy steem before sending it to my wallet. That takes time, effort, multiple registrations and research. The same goes if I want to move it the other way. There are probably better ways but this is the one that's I've found the easiest and fastest.
That is a lot of steps when at the moment I can tap my bank card off a terminal and pay in seconds. That is the gap that we need to bridge. Now I power up all of my steem since I wouldn't sell anything at this price but if we were sitting on $5 per token I would probably use some for spending.
