Steem does seem to be gaining more genuine witnesses to replace Justin's puppets. Is he paying them well? I'm still keeping an eye on Steem even though I won't be posting here much.

Well good luck to you. If Steemit are voting for witnesses then only the chosen will have much chance. The community does not get a say. I believed in Steem, but was disillusioned.
Thank you! I completely understand why you feel this way, and that is totally ok! I am sure those steemit votes will be reduced when certain witnesses turn of their Steem nodes. Retract their proposals and show their true color. Cant double dip imo. Eventually, and it will take some time, the true witnesses who are here to make steam great, make you feel home, and protect your property are the ones at the top. Patience is a bitch, cant wait myself. Wish we had a sneak peak in to the future :D Good luck to you too, whatever you feel whats best for you!
Well you can have a witness vote from me as you sound sincere. Mind you, my vote will have less impact in coming weeks.
It is going to be interesting to learn more about all the new witnesses.

As long as Steemit are voting for them the community input is irrelevant, especially since many big accounts are powering down now.
We are all fine here. Hope it's okay in Wales. I guess you are fairly isolated anyway as you are so self-sufficient. The preppers are all feeling smug right now.
