Hi Steve, long time no see, how are things?
You should. Steem will never be perfect, but I think it is better now. I am tempted to do a bread post :)
I'm fine and life is good, although I did not get to Steemfest this time.

There's too much happening right now and not enough time. I have two weeks to prepare for the finals of AWS DeepRacer League plus they're will be a conference I'll be talking at over there.
I still am not really seeing any increased curation rewards over what I used to get on here. I think part of that is just because of how big my account is. If it were bigger I might be seeing better rewards. I know there are some others that are really benefiting from it. It will be interesting to see what the future holds.
I make a bit more from curation now, but it's not massive. It's the orcas and whales who can really profit from that, but they can do it whilst giving out good votes to small accounts, so everyone should benefit, if they have good content. I think we still have too much of the author rewards going to blog accounts.
There are many changing their ways and if Joe is one of them, well hats off to him. Let's leave all the shit behind and move on I say.
All good points my friend. I think that the downvote wars are something that needs to calm down a bit. All it does is make us all look like amateurs.
Hoping communities is a bit of a Game changer as well. Fingers crossed.

Good to hear that things can be turned around. Nobody has any interest in revenge or keeping up old grudges. But it lies deep in humans to actually react that way. The more people who start curating the good posts the better.
