7 SteemIt Post Templates For Easy To Write, High Quality Content: Template #1

in #steem8 years ago (edited)

The more I learn about the #steemit platform, the more I see that quality content is what really rises to the top. Things that all users find valuable. I feel this is the best path to success on SteemIt and the way we can have the most fun together :)

After all, most of us aren't pro writers

Templates

Templates I'll be sharing are:
The Standard
The Story
the News Anchor
The Quote Post
The "TED": Ideas Worth Curating
The Interview
The Problem Solver

Before you use a template

All writing templates will follow a basic structure. This structure is used so writing is easy, can be done in chunks, and never gets overwhelming. The post development process goes like this...

Create an Idea
This can be as simple as a headline, like: "the step by step process for beginners to meditate like a guru, even if you have ADHD"

Create 3-8 takeaways, or sup topics...

Sticking with the meditation example:

1 - What is meditation and why isn't it what you think it is

2 - What meditation will do for you

3 - The stupid simple way to get started: Breathing Meditation

4 - The importance of building a habit

5 - The goal of meditation: mindfulness

Tell Them What You Told Them

And finally, end with a conclusion, summarizing what was learned or said, and give a call to action, such as asking for comments, feedback or followers.

This method goes for nearly any type of writing. Be it a 300 word article or a 500 page novel. It's what I call the "standard".

Template #1: The Standard

This template is a basic one. It can be used for nearly any idea and follows the basic template described above

[Headline]

[1st line/Subheadline]

"In this post, you'll learn..."

Call To Action

The standard keeps it simple and follows the beginning, middle, and end process that most compelling writing will follow. By taking the "middle" and breaking it into parts, it's much easier to build a unique piece of content.

OK, time for the call to action ;)

I'd like your feedback. Show me you're alive and not just a robot: Tell me what you think of the template ideas, and the "standard" in the comments below!

I upvoted you! Not bad. I don't officially follow a template but in general this is very close to what I do subconsciously. Is your account acting normal? It looks like their are accounts getting hacked right now. Here is the news post I just did about this. https://steemit.com/steemit/@brianphobos/it-seems-like-steemit-accounts-are-getting-hacked-right-now-yikes

(Upvote me and I will auto follow you and upvote you!)

It's too bad this quality post you put out isn't getting a lot of steem. I think you share valuable ideas (most of the time). Thanks!
