1. The benefit is to the person who referred you...in this instance myself. Each direct person referred gets one into the bonus pool and paid extra tokens for the period of one year. It is only direct people referred...not levels deep like a mlm.

2.. There are present two exchanges that do have GRT on them (which will be rolled to Manna soon), so there is a way to convert it to fiat or any other crypto. Over time, there will be goods and services available. There are also charitable organizations that are going to be set up if people prefer to donate all or some of their crypto.
