MY STEEMIT EXPERIMENT

in #steem10 years ago

In this video I talk about a new experiment I have come up with to test out how steemit pays its users in steem power and how it effects upvotes and growth over time.

Sort:

You receive VESTS (see how many of those you have at steemd.com). There's a pool of Steem backing the VESTS, and here on steemit you see the corresponding amount. The pool grows, so your amount of Steem grows.

For the experiment: during the first 30 minutes, a part of your rewards goes to the author. This was introduced because bots were always the first. When you vote after 15 minutes now, you give 50% of your rewards to the author. 33% after 20 minutes, and so on.

So it's better to vote after 30 minutes?

Depends - when a lot of people vote at 28 minutes it's better to get in before. It's a little game on its own ;)

Upvoted you

I really enjoy your vids dude, I love the beginning "well, because I get paid!" Like do you need another reason to switch, not to mention the community here is awesome! I fuckin love this site!

I didn't do much in mine but its actually I want to raise as much as I can for the steem power rather then withdrawal.

This is great. Thanks for the advice. Ill keep building my steemit power and not cash out!

Hey Trevon,

I just have to say that i really enjoy all your opinions, vids and advise. I have to admit that since i started following you on Twitter and You Tube, i really learned a lot. You tha man. Following you is almost like following a very good TV series. You just can not wait for the next episode. I'm sure all your followers would agree?

Keep it up bro, and thanx
