Do not forget that you can schedule posts, also on the Steem blockchain!
I have a habit of publishing one post a day. It doesn't always happen, and sometimes it is because I am lazy, other times it is because I have plenty of other work to do, or because I am having family time and because I try not to work so much during the weekends!
But, have you ever thought about the fact that it is possible to write a post earlier and publish it at a later time on Steemit? I had actually forgotten about this option myself for a very long time, but as I tested the new SteemAuto (http://www.worldofxpilar.com/) (powered by the @xpilar team), it came to my mind that there is a schedule post option in the menu. Isn't that cool? So to be honest, this post wasn't written right now before I published it, but the time I am writing this post is actually on June 8th at 13:42, local time in Budapest.
What is the point of writing something now and publishing it later?
There are many reasons why you might want to write something earlier and publish it later.
- Maybe you have a goal of publishing once a day, but you know that on a given day you will not be able to write anything. So, to keep up with your goal, you decide to write the content earlier, and automatically publish it on that given day!
- Sometimes you have supporters who upvote you once a day. In such cases, it is better to publish one post a day, instead of two today and zero tomorrow.
- It is important to be consistent, and to make a habit of publishing! So, if you want to make that habit strong, have a goal of publishing, even on days when you are not really able to publish!
- If you have events and publications that you want to time so that it will be published at one given time. It is way easier to publish something at a set time when you schedule it, because then it has been recorded already and it will happen automatically. This can be useful for competitions or other timed events.
Do you get the point? I can warmly recommend this to anyone who wants to time articles or other content on the Steemit platform!
Have you ever used the opportunity to schedule posts on Steemit? Are you still using it? I would love to hear about your experience, your thoughts, comments, and if you have questions, feel free to write those down as well!
Great guidelines
This is actually my first time hearing about this, but i do believe it is a great option especially for people who are busy but want to be cosistent on steemit.
I believe that you can also use Steem Fanbase to schedule posts. So if I used Steem Auto, will any of my rewards go to Steem Auto?
