The Beginning of a New Steem Based Platform Called "Alphamemes" (Part 10)
It is Probably Over...
There you can basically read the whole situation. (Text version below)
"Soulast - Yesterday at 10:17 AM
@ValorForFreedom I hope that you will read it to the end. Yesterday when I saw your generosity, "I appreciate your hard work so I will send $25 to you because I think that the site is 50% made. This underlined our entire current and future cooperation. Also your approach is the exactly reason why every experience developer takes the payment in advance. You threw me in the face 25 as the cheapest whore, promising me a golden mountain at a later date. And this is for my current almost 300h spent on this project. But, it's not about those pathetic 25, 50 or 100 it is all about trust. I came back to team after what you wrote on public and throwing shit on me by explaining why you did throw me, not even knowing what you are missing. After a day you both comeback to me. So I was stupid enough to say ok. I did come back, although cooperation with you cost me a lot of stress, I came back under one simple condition. That I will finish the page in 2 weeks. I have written this to you clearly here and privately. I wrote to you this a week ago. The other thing is. During our second conversation when Tucker did not come on time for our 2nd meeting. You asked me what to do with him. If he can not approach it serious and professionally. And yesterday you yourself stressed hypocrisy by over sleeping on our appointment. And how can I treat you seriously here, as a future business partner in which you think you are above your own rules? Judging others but not yourself? I thought I would sleep with this but it was not enough for me. So I did decide to give myself a another day to cope and think about our cooperation. And I'm not sure if I will chat with you guys 2morrow since you already both failed, by not appear on time. So also this is time to think for you both. Now I am going out, take a some fuckin fresh air."

@Soulast I gave you 25SBD to reward you, I said I will give you the cash, I was just holding my promise to you buddy, its just icing on the cake instead of nothing. And yeah you are right we fucked up on that one. I can understand why you are mad, but you also gotta understand that we all take this serious You are a valued team member Kryz, if you don't feel like that then you have to vent to us just like you did right now. Also you can ask us anything anytime. You got a whole section for yourself to describe what you are doing, what you have done and to talk about yourself, everyone here gets equal payment buddy, you are currently doing most of the work but that is changing and you will have to do way less when Alphamemes is out of Beta. And by the way, nobody here even considers what I am doing here for the team. I am managing all this, promoting it, directing what happens here, organizing it. All while I have to deal with my shit neighbors and moving. Tucker is also stuck in a fucked up neighbor situation and he does what I tell him, he will also work more in the future and he is actively participating in the SteemSchool chat and manages the community. So you are not the only one busting his ass for Alphamemes if you feel like that.
Too long didn't read version: Soulast complains about feeling like a bitch because he gets lots of critique and money from me that I promised to him. He also complains that I came to late once and I agree with that. It sucked.
Now to today's meeting he doesn't show up at all after calling me out for being 15 minutes too late yesterday which is a really childish move. I cannot trust such a person and I certainly cannot work with such an unstable fragile person.
Because of his fragility, the whole project which was almost done is now ruined.
We even told him he can take the day before off which he did, I told him I made a mistake and that we are going to overcome all this.
Anyway, that is now over.
SOLUTIONS?
We need a new developer but I am not willing to pay a developer as I simply don't have the cash for it, and I need most of what I have for moving. I can however, guarantee you 100SBD to finish the website like I want it to and 3.33% of all the memes created if you continue to work with us (which would be a smart move).
We really want to get this done but you need some nerves to do this as working on a large project with a team requires balls, social intelligence, discipline and loyalty.

More often, I find it easier to work with developers when I let them hand me a very clean and simple finished product in the way they like things done. The best pros can usually dump out a simple interactive website within a week or less, and they are happy to walk you through how to use it, and how to edit things. They've done it a million times. This is how they like to finish a project, so they can get paid and have a sense of accomplishment.
If the developer succeeded in delivering the clean and simple (though limited) system, spend some time attempting some of the redesign features on your own until you are ready to hit the wall... call the developer back a few weeks later and ask if you can hire them for consultation. Often times they'll look at the mess you made and ask why you did it that way, and they'll have a simpler solution they can build if they are wanting to expand their contract.
They might even tell you the base system was never designed for what you had in mind to do with it. This is the time to re-evaluate if you want to work them again. Are they going to con you for more time and money, or do you trust they are motivated to deliver what you need?
Keep it simple. Give them one simple short-term contract goal. Set a deadline. Not finished? No pay? The contract stipulates what the capabilities of the final system needs to be able to perform. Multi-month jobs on a project with many challenging requirements tend to overwhelm people when they are working solo. There is no job stress that compares to the kind when your manager suddenly reveals new insights of what the final results should look like after you have spent half of your available hours doing it the wrong way.
Best of luck.
Thank you for all the useful suggestions CT.
If you have suggestions on how to find a developer that works for free on a project that will give guaranteed high returns I would gladly read them.
You guys need to chill a little, if the project takes 1 or 2 more weeks there is no problems, Elon Musk for example always puts impossible time limits on his projects which he never achieves, even though his team works hard!
I wouldn't try to get a new dev, i would try to strength the current team, inner fights is normal in the process of making the team better... but that is just me, you ofc do what you think is best for the platform
Thank you for the suggestion Teuto, but I tried that and it failed.
I wish I was a developer so i could get in on that 3,33% return...
We got a new developer. : -)
Thank you for a good information
good post sharing @valorforfreedom
