Who is your favorite ex-steemian?
I am curious. Of all the people who have left, who was your favorite?
We’ve had a lot of people come and go but I think our best days are yet to come. Still, that doesn’t mean we can’t miss some steemians who have stopped activity here, and I think it should encourage us to try and bring them back which is what I want to encourage with the #bbyfs tag, “Bring back your favorite steemian”.
I’ve already starting reaching out to past steemians who I have the contact information of. Of course I don’t just bring up steem, it’s a chance to catch up! But then I’ll tell them how steem has improved and how we miss them and all the reasons they should come back.
Rather than just focusing on new users, we could easily double or triple the current size of the community by trying to bring back people who were fed up with bid-bots or who didn't like past management or reward pool abuse that has since become less of a problem.
I've notice a few people coming back before I had a chance to say anything. @stillgideon posted right after I mentioned him in a post for the first time in a while. @k0wsk1 surprised me with a comment the other day, glad he is back. and @stellabelle reappeared! I'm gonna work on @debbietiyan and see if i can convince her to come back now.
At the same time I am trying to make more efforts to keep new users at the platform. I want to try and pick a few every month to give a little extra support to. This week I found @jennie.dan @seminaxyz @miraicastel and @unclemantis. If they continue to post good stuff I will try to resteem some of it so please check it out :-D

It's a good initiative! I remember a lot of friends I made around here. Some were just starting out, others already had some power. As a Venezuelan, we made a beautiful group of friends who never got to know each other, but who were like brothers. I especially remember @sansoncarrasco and @galletikasal. I liked to read and comment on what they did. I also remember the images of @velimir. He was an angel for me. I hope they come back soon! Greetings ;)

@jedau and @ratticus (i'm trying to convince the latter to start posting again at some stage, he said maybe but there's currently a lot going on in his life, I don't know where the former disappeared to, he was meant to be coming back once he got back from holiday but doesn't seem to have gotten round to it).
That is so nice of you to bring back quality steemians sometimes a kind motivational reminder makes wonders and hopefully they'll come back
