Bug Report: Transfers that contain private memos do not send from steemit.com

I found a bug in the steemit.com interface:

When transferring steem from your account via the steemit.com wallet, if you start a memo with '#' to make it a private memo, the transfer does not occur. After hitting the transfer button, the loading symbol in the lower left spins forever and the transfer never happens:

Transfers with public memos seem unaffected.
