Kantanagar Archaeological Museum is a museum for the northern part of Bangladesh that preserves various artifacts from the Mughal and Raja and Zamindars eras. Today I have visited here and will share it with you and review this museum.

Kantanagar Archaeological Museum is an archaeological museum in northern Bangladesh. It is located in Kantanagar, Kaharol Upazila, Dinajpur District. More simply put, it is located near the Kantajiu Temple in Dinajpur. It is located on the banks of the Dhepa River, 20 km north of Dinajpur city. This museum is important for preserving and displaying the cultural and historical heritage of the northern region. It is open to all the common people. The Department of Archaeology of Bangladesh established this museum. This museum has a collection of various old statues and historical artifacts.

The museum here is located in a very pleasant environment and is surrounded by greenery. And a place filled with various flowering plants. To enter here, you have to buy a ticket for 20 taka per person and enter. You have to take two entrance tickets here, one for a walk around and one for the museum. There are many trees around which have been cut and customized into different shapes. The design around the museum is very beautiful.

The walls of the museum are decorated with aesthetic terracotta and have a great design that you will want to look at for a long time. This diverse installation style will fascinate you as an exhibitor. Taking pictures using cameras inside the museum is completely prohibited. So it is not possible to share everything inside. Inside the museum there are idols of gods and goddesses made of stone from different periods. There are also various objects that are signs of ancient times. There are 300+ idols of gods and goddesses here. There are various coins used in ancient times and bones used in wars.

There were four of us and we enjoyed the whole time

This is a great place I have not entered here before Today was the first time I went and I enjoyed it. There were 4 of us here The antiques inside the museum enriched our historical knowledge. However, all the idols here are of ancient Hindus.

What is the most interesting entertainment to attract children or other tourists?




If a tourist wants to get an idea about ancient times and is interested in knowing about the statues of that time, then he will definitely enjoy it here. Also, it is a place to bring the family, there are beautiful flowers and great objects to take pictures around here, you can do photography there. Many (who make Facebook reels) are great for taking pictures and making videos outside. The yard has been cut down to create elephant, horse, snake shapes which are a fun place for children.
