Dear Steemian lovers, we all know that the third week of the 27th session of the TV Challenge is underway, this week one of the challenges is to discuss street vendors, this week we will discuss station vendors on the go, this competition was created by @max-pro, he titled his competition SLC27-W3 | A One-Day Street Journalist: Business at The Transport Station.

We use different types of vehicles to go to different places, to use those vehicles, we must go to the station, sometimes we get on an auto from the auto stand and go to a nearby place, sometimes we get on a bus from the bus stand and go somewhere far away, and sometimes we get on a train from the railway station and go to a distant place.

We see different types of vendors at these stations, some may be doing business by setting up their own small shops on the sidewalks, some of them are running their shops and doing business inside the station with the permission of the station authorities, their businesses are mainly based on the needs of the passengers, these vendors do business with the things that the passengers need.

Today I will talk about Sirajganj Bazar Station located in our Sirajganj district, the only railway station in our Sirajganj city is this Sirajganj Bazar Station, although there are railway stations in other upazilas of Sirajganj but this is the only railway station in our Sirajganj city, trains come from different places to this railway station, only one train leaves from this railway station for Dhaka, which train is called Sirajganj Express.

In our Sirajganj Bazar Station, various types of traders set up small and big shops and run their own businesses, among those traders, there are two shops on the railway platform with the permission of the railway authorities, with those two shops it is written as approved tea stall, one of them is Arif Confectionery, basically everything is available in this shop, everything has been kept in this shop for the convenience of train passengers.

Especially in this shop, various types of drinks and soft drinks are available, also tea-coffee, biscuits, chips and other various things are available, at one time this shop had mobile banking and mobile recharge system, but now this service has been closed, after talking to the shop owner, I found out that he will restart mobile banking and mobile recharge service again.

Whenever I go to Sirajganj, I try to buy something from this market station, there is a sitting place in front of this shop inside the market station, I sit there and have tea or coffee from this shop, sometimes I buy cold water and juice from the fridge, I used to sit on the platform at the market station during the summer and cool down my body by eating cold from this shop, and I would sit and rest for some time.

Especially when I go by train from Sirajganj to Dhaka, I buy various things from this shop. A few days ago, I went by train from Sirajganj Bazar station to Dhaka with my wife and children. At that time, I bought cold water and juice from this shop. Today, I had tea and paruti from that shop. Although I didn't remember to take those two pictures.

Train passengers are more attracted to these shops because sometimes the train is late and they have to sit on the platform of the railway station. During that sitting, passengers buy many things from this shop. Many people sit and drink tea or coffee, and many people buy biscuits, cakes, paruti, and then when the train arrives, the passengers buy cold water and juice from this shop and board the train.

Many times you need to eat different things inside the train, sometimes you are thirsty for water, then you cannot find much inside the train, what is available is much more expensive, many people buy cold water and juice or different types of food from the shops at the station while traveling by train, get on the train and travel to their destination.

I think that, of course, these business establishments have created employment opportunities for unemployed youth, many people do different types of business at these stations, many youth are doing business at the bus stand, many youth are also doing business at the auto stand, and many youth are also doing business at the railway station, if these stations were not there, these youth could not do business, they would be unemployed.

There are many young people who are children of poor environments, it is not possible for them to do big business with a lot of capital, that is why they do various types of business at these stations with little understanding, those young people do business at these stations with little understanding, even if they do small business, they are eliminating their unemployment, because unemployment is a curse, through this small employment they are getting rid of that cursed life.
