Dear Steemit lovers, we all know that the fourth week of the 28th session of the Steemit Challenge is underway, one of the challenges this week is, Global Travel Explorer, we have tried to visit the historical and cultural places of our country, this competition was organized by @max-pro, who named his competition SLC28-W4 | Worldwide Travel Explorer : Explore Historical & Cultural Spots in your country.

We are getting to know about different places through the Global Travel Explorer competition, there are some places that are related to our history and heritage, they may be historical structures or museums, there may be different kinds of places, I have visited a memorial monument in our area from all these places and I will discuss it with you.

I visited the memorial located in Simanto Bazar, Kazipur Upazila, Sirajganj district, this memorial is located on the east side of the auto stand of Simanto Bazar, this memorial was built to honor the freedom fighters of Bangladesh in 1971 and to remember the martyrs of the language movement.

This monument is honored on every national day, especially March 26th Independence Day, December 16th Victory Day, February 21st International Mother Language Day, on these days this monument is honored, on these national days, people from different parties and the general public come to this monument and pay respect to the martyrs of the Liberation War and the Language Movement.

There are two games for children to play in this monument, one of which is a swing, and the other is a slipper, today one of my sons played on them, this monument is located in a small space, two big pillars have been made in the middle, the shoes look like walls and a big ball is placed in the middle, in which the two colors of the national flag of Bangladesh have been given, green and red.

Chairs have been made for people to sit and rest in this monument, and washrooms and toilets have been arranged for people to freshen up, people can easily enter this monument and take a rest for a while, diseases can satisfy their natural needs, when you go to this monument, you remember the language movement and the liberation war of Bangladesh.

After going to this place, I remembered the liberation war and the language movement of Bangladesh, after going to this monument, I remembered the history of our country and the struggle behind independence, and I thought about the sacrifice of the martyrs of our country's war of independence and the language movement, they gave their lives for our country and gave us our mother tongue and freedom.

Today, standing at this monument, I was thinking deeply about one thing, for which our country was liberated and for this freedom, the mothers and sisters who gave their lives for this freedom have lost their dignity, have we been able to achieve that real desire of freedom, we have to remember the sacrifice of the martyrs and plan to build a beautiful Bangladesh of the future.

This memorial located in our Kazipur border market is being destroyed by neglect and carelessness, it is only taken care of on national days, like now it is December and in a few days it will be December 16, our Bangladesh Victory Day, on that occasion the memorial is now being cleaned, and it has been left unattended and neglected all year round, due to carelessness and neglect, dirt has accumulated inside the memorial, the chairs are breaking.

If that place was made very beautifully, two rights have been kept for small children to play, small children can come here and swing on the swing and play on the slipper, but no one has been appointed to look after this memorial, due to which it is slowly losing its beauty, of course there will be an appeal to the authorities to take care of it.
