As a one day journalist of AUTO-RICKSHAW STATION I went to UniUyo roundabout where they load to different places within Akwaibom to conduct my interview, it's good to have this experience knowing how people in my country react to things like this, but I'm lucky to meet a nice person who accepted my interview.

Which transport station in your city did you visit? Review a business there.

I visited an Auto-rickshaw station ( kown as Keke) in my city, it is located at University of Uyo roundabout loading to uruikpa and so on . This business place is very popular and busy because of students movement to and fro. One thing about this auto-rickshaw station it is fast . I mean passengers does not wait for long before going to where they want.

This place is sure plague for frying thing, they are always there to serve the passer-by, they make their money on a daily basis selling bun, egg rolls and other snacks. I like buying buns from them because they are neat and their buns is very tasty.

03 Why are passengers more attracted to these shops?

• Location. There are other snacks shop around, but the location of this shop made it easy for people passing on the street and the ones coming out from the school compound to buy from them.

• Pricing . Their prices are very okay compared to others around, it's very affordable to both the rich and average students.

• Customers service. Everyone that uses this Keke station or passer-by knows Mr okon snacks shop as where you can buy snacks with a smiling face. Her sales girls are very neat and smart.

• Crunch taste . Another amazing thing that attracts people here is the taste of their snacks, it has that unique taste that makes customers urge for more.

04 Are these businesses creating employment opportunities for local unemployed youth?

Yes , this business have helped so many people including the university students who hustle around the station to pay their bills.

It has also helped unemployed youths to venture into business knowing that selling around the station is a sure business with daily money.

Young boy and girl hawk around the station to make a living.
