To participate in this contest, I visited a government college in Narayanganj. The name of the college is Government Tolaram College, the college is located near Chashara in Narayanganj city. It was established in 1937 by Khagendranath Chakraborty as 'Narayanganj Women's College' but later its name was changed to Government Tolaram College. This college is built on about 2.60 acres of land, it offers higher secondary courses under the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board and undergraduate and postgraduate courses under the National University.

There are a total of 5 buildings inside the college and each building is 5 to 10 floors high. Each building has a specific name to identify it. So that students do not have any problem finding any building. Since it is a government college, many types of board exams are held here, since the buildings have specific names to identify them, students coming from other colleges do not have any problem finding the building.

A few days ago, a big building was built in the college which is about 10-12 stories high. Earlier, there was no hostel facility in this college, since students come from far and wide to study here, so they have to face many problems due to the lack of a hostel. Considering all these things, the college authorities decided to build a hostel and built it. Since the hostel building is very big and has many stories high, stairs as well as an elevator have been arranged to go up here. Now that the college has a hostel, students coming from far away no longer have to rent a house outside and it has become very convenient for them.

The college has its own parking area, besides there is a bus facility for students who come from far and wide. The college has two buses in total, students have to make a bus card by paying 300-400 taka for 6 months, then through that card they can travel in these buses for 6 months. After 6 months, they have to make a bus card again with new money. In addition, the government has arranged vehicles for some of the main teachers of the college so that they do not have any problem in their transportation.

The campus of Tolaram College is quite large, where they organize all kinds of programs of their college. Cultural programs, sports competitions and various campings are organized here and many more. This government Tolaram College is at the top among all the colleges in Narayanganj district. So, this college has this reputation in all aspects along with studies.

Since it is an educational institution, of course, educational services are provided here first, and there are also many types of services besides this. But especially among the services, there are different types of arrangements for students and separate buildings have been built here for students of each sector. Next to the college is its science building, where students of the science branch are sent to classes.

For example, there is a separate building for inter students where they have only their classes and a separate building for honors and degree students where they have their own departments. There is also such a difference in the case of teachers, there is separate teaching for inter students and separate teaching for honors and degree students.

As the buildings of this college are large, the classrooms are also very large. Since there are about 800-1000 students in each branch, the classes have been made large. Since the classes are large, there is a microphone system so that the students in the back can also hear the teachers well. There is also a system of conducting classes through monitors in each class. This makes it very convenient for students to understand the class.

Since I have already said that Tolaram College is at the top among all the colleges in Narayanganj district, the services here are also much better than other colleges. All the services provided here are definitely better than other colleges, so people feel comfortable sending their children to this college.

Parents want their children to study in a college where they will get all kinds of facilities and they will not have to face any problems, just like the government Tolaram College, almost all the facilities are provided to the students here, so the parents are also very satisfied with this college.

Since the college is more than 8 decades old, there are many experienced teachers here who are very good at teaching the students and doing all the other work of the college along with their responsibilities. Since there is no possibility of creating a chaotic environment here, the parents can safely send their children to study here. There is a positive attitude in the minds of people and parents towards this college, which is helping to maintain the reputation of this college till now.

This college has almost all the facilities but only one area that did not seem very auspicious to me is politics in student life. In this college, I have seen that some students are heavily inclined towards politics and even some of the new students are encouraging them to join political parties which is not right at all.

Our student life is a beautiful life where we will enjoy our college life along with our studies but I think some students of the current college are getting their lives involved in politics at this young age which will cause a big loss in their lives later. Also, if such political parties are formed in the college, one day it will be seen that the peaceful atmosphere inside the college will be destroyed and a lot of chaos will be created due to this, not only will the studies of the students be harmed but also the parents will lose their trust in this college. In this way, the reputation of the college will continue to deteriorate day by day, so the college authorities should pay full attention to these issues and not allow these political parties to form in the college.
