"SLC27-W3 | A One-Day Street Journalist: Business at the transport station."

How are you all? I hope you are well. I am also fine by the grace of Allah. Today, I have come to participate in the second week of the Steemit Challenge SLC-S27/W3, organized by the Honorable teacher @max-pro sir. He has brought a fully uncommon and thoughtful challenge, whose name is "A One-Day Street Journalist: Business at the transport station."I feel proud to participate in this challenge.

Today I have appeared at Pagla bus stand in Narayanganj district. Now I will observe the Pagla bus stand street shop and pin it in Steem-Atlas.
I live near the Pagla bus stand in Narayanganj. I have to go to Pagla bus stand at least twice a day. Like now I have come to Pagla bus stand.
Pagla bus stand is one of the busiest bus stands. To go from Dhaka to Narayanganj, one has to cross this bus stand. Every day, millions of people travel through this stand. The bus stand is not only famous for buses. There is a CNG station and an auto station here. Thousands of people gather in every transport.

Wherever people gather, various business establishments are established there. Pagla bus stand is no exception. So, Pagla bus stand has various fast-food shops, numerous tea shops, ordinary fast-food shops, jhal muri shops, etc.
Among them, I am observing the fast-food shop today. There are several fast-food shops here. I came in front of a shop. The shop is located next to the bus stands. People walking on the road are taking food from these shops. Various types of food are arranged in the shop. Such as noodles, pasta, chicken fries, burgers, pizza, etc.

Two benches have been provided on both sides in front of the shop. Customers coming here sit on these benches and take food. There is a microwave oven to serve the food hot. Since it is a temporary shop on the side of the road, it does not have its own electricity line. The electricity demand here is met by bringing electricity lines from the nearby permanent shops. And with that, the microwave oven, the same small fan, and the light work.
Although the quality of food at roadside shops is fair, there is a risk of the food being unhealthy. Because there is dust and sand on the road. And it is normal for that dust and sand to get into the food. However, the customers who come here do not care about that and enjoy eating. Like them
Like them, I also went to the shop and ordered fried chicken. I enjoyed the taste of fried chicken with mayonnaise and tomato sauce.

I have already said that I have to come to Pagla busstand every day. Because I have to go to the office every day on this road. I sometimes eat street food here in the afternoon. Sometimes I taste boiled eggs here, sometimes jhalmuri, sometimes burgers, sometimes another else.
The shop that I observed is open from noon to 11.00 pm. Two friends take turns running the business in the area. I see that there are customers here all the time,
The food here is of fair quality, but the prices are very low. I am presenting the names of some of the dishes available here and their prices.

Why are passengers more attracted to these shops? |

There are a lot of middle- and lower-class people in our country. Along with this, they spend most of their time in employment. They do not have time to prepare complicated food like fast food. Also, making these foods at home is expensive. Again, these foods available at roadside shops are comparatively cheaper. Overall, people coming to the station depend on these shops to satisfy their hunger.
Also, people may feel hungry while traveling far and wide, so everyone is attracted to these shops to satisfy their hunger.

Are these businesses creating employment opportunities for the local unemployed youth? |

From my perspective, the shops next to the bus station are definitely creating employment opportunities for the unemployed youth. There are thousands of bus stands all over the country, and millions of youths run small businesses at these bus stands. They have made themselves prosperous with the income they earn from here and have also provided their families with prosperity.

If these roadside shops were not there, they would have suffered from unemployment. Because we do not have financial institutions to provide employment to a large number of youths. Therefore, by running business establishments next to the bus stand on our own initiative, we have been able to eliminate unemployment. It has been possible to solve a lot of the unemployment problem in the country.
