How are you all? I hope you are well. I am also fine by the grace of Allah. Today, I have come to participate in the second week of the Steemit Challenge SLC-S28/W2, organized by the Honorable teacher @max-pro sir. He has brought a wonderful and thoughtful challenge, whose name is "Worldwide Travel Explorer : Explore Public Tourist Center."I feel proud to participate in this challenge.

Today I have come to visit the famous Victoria Park, or Bahadur Shah Park. It is a historically important park located in the old Dhaka of Bangladesh. This park was built in memory of the soldiers who died during the Indian Rebellion against British colonial rule in 1857. Initially, this park was named after the British Queen Elizabeth. In later times, it was named after the Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah II. Victoria or Bahadur Shah Park has been a focal point for various reasons. During the fight against the British, this park was the center of discussion. Many secret meetings of revolutionaries against the British took place here.
It was inside this park that the infamous British hanged the soldiers involved in the Sepoy Mutiny. So that everyone can see the consequences of the rebellion, Bahadur Shah Park has witnessed many other historical events.

In front of Bahadur Shah Park, there is the sprawling Jagannath University, where thousands of students pursue higher education. On one side is the Judge Court, on the other side is the National Hospital, and a Kabi Nazrul college and a famous school. Overall, the area around Bahadur Shah Park is very busy.
Bahadur Shah Park exudes peace in such a busy area. There are two gates to enter the park. Every day, hundreds of men and women choose this park for morning and afternoon physical exercise.
Bahadur Shah Park is not very big. There is a paved road to walk around the park. There are long benches along the road to rest.
There are a few paved areas right in the middle of the park. Visitors exercise there. Teenagers and young men play various types of games.

Beautiful atmosphere of the park
Each tree in the park is very old, although the exact age of the trees is not known; however, looking at the trees, you can understand that they are very old trees. Each tree has grown very high.
There are various types of games for the entertainment of visitors to the park. Visitors are happy to participate in different levels of games, as well as the traders. In addition, there are many temporary shops inside the park; these shops sell various foods, starting from tea and biscuits to ice cream, chattpati, fuska, nuts, and so on.
There is a memorial pillar inside the park, although the memorial pillar is quite neglected, various people spend the night there.

In addition, a memorial pillar has been built at the place in Bahadur Shah Park where the soldiers involved in the Sepoy mutinies were hanged.
There are separate washroom facilities for men and women inside Bahadur Shah Park. The park is open to everyone from morning to night; there is no entry fee.
In total, Bahadur Shah Park has witnessed about 150 years of history. This Bahadur Shah Park has witnessed thousands of historical events.

Entertainment in the park

Bahadurshah Park is located in the busiest area of Old Dhaka. The park is surrounded by all the famous places, such as Jagannath University, Kabi Nazrul College, the Judge Court, the National Hospital, and a school. Bahadurshah Park is the only place to relax and get in touch with nature in such a busy place. The park is always open to visitors. There are beautiful paved walking paths so that visitors can walk around beautifully. There are also wonderful benches so that they can sit and enjoy the beauty of nature. There are several mobile shops for visitors to the park; they offer tea, breakfast, and various snacks.

The biggest feature of the park is its long history. People come here from far and wide to see this park, which was built about 150 years ago, and witness history.
It is also a matter of luck to visit the park. Because this park was the place where the soldiers of the Sepoy Mutiny of 1857 were hanged. During the Language Movement of 1952 and the War of Independence of 1971, this place was very important; various secret meetings were held here, and all-important decisions were made. And that is why this park is very dear to everyone, young and old, and people come here to witness history.
