How are you all? I hope you are well. I am also fine by the grace of Allah. Today, I have come to participate in the third week of the Steemit Challenge SLC-S28/W6, organized by the Honorable Host @max-pro sir. He has brought a wonderful and thoughtful challenge, whose name is "Worldwide Travel Explorer : Transport Hubs and Stations."I feel proud to participate in this challenge.
Today I have arrived at the Lalkuthi Launch Terminal located on the banks of the Buriganga River, known as the lifeblood of the capital Dhaka. Lalkuthi Launch Terminal plays an important role in maintaining communication with the southern part of the country. Today I will review the terminal and answer the questions given by the honorable host @max-pro sir.
Lalkuthi Launch Terminal is a launch terminal under BIWTA. Due to heavy pressure on the main terminal of BIWTA, a new terminal is being built. This terminal is being built near the historic Northbrook Hall. Northbrook Hall is known to everyone as Lal Kuthi. Lalkuthi Launch Terminal is located near this hall. Hundreds of launches ply through this terminal every day to many districts in the southern part of the country, including Chandpur, Shariatpur, Barguna, Barisal and Pirojpur. The terminal is bustling with passengers 24 hours a day. In addition to passengers, Lalkuthi Launch Terminal is one of the means of sending goods to many districts in the southern part of the country. Hundreds of people have been employed around the terminal. They earn their living by working in the terminal from time to time. In addition, the need for thousands of workers for hundreds of launches has been met due to the construction of this terminal and they are earning their living because of the terminal.

On one side of the Lalkuthi Launch Terminal is the traditional Shyambazar boat terminal, next to it is the wholesale vegetable market Shyambazar. On the other side is the main launch terminal of BIWTA. As a result, the area is always crowded with people.
To enter the Lalkuthi Launch Terminal, you have to buy a ticket worth 10 taka or 1.33 steem and enter.
Once inside, you have to cross a long road to get on the launch, then you see the launches standing in a row at the terminal. Some launches are leaving for their destination, some launches are crowding at the terminal, and some launch employees are spending their time idly.
The terminal is bustling with thousands of passengers every day. So, there are many temporary food shops to arrange their food. All kinds of news are available in these shops, especially fruits , dates, bread, mineral water, lunch, water, cigarettes, everything is available here. Passengers also depend on these shops for their last-minute shopping.

Is that all? Many people also sell their various products inside the launch by boat.
The launch terminal is very big. So, there are many speakers and microphones to convey special announcements to everyone. There is Shyambazar Boat Terminal next to the terminal. Every day, hundreds of passengers pass through this terminal and reach Jinjira.
When you enter the Lalkuthi Launch Terminal, you can see countless boats plying in small boats. Which is still running, maintaining the tradition of Bengal.

There is a team of skilled workers to keep the inside and outside of the Lalkuthi Launch Terminal clean. They regularly clean the entire terminal in the morning and afternoon. Apart from this, the terminal authority has its own team of sanitation workers. They take care of everything in the terminal so that the passengers coming here do not face any trouble.
To maintain law and order at the Lalkuthi Launch Terminal, a few policemen are always on duty, they have built a mini police station and take turns on duty.
There is an information center inside the terminal. Any passenger can contact this center and collect information.
The communication to reach the terminal is very good. There is an arrangement to reach this terminal from any place by any means of transport.
Overall, Lalkuthi Launch Terminal is an important terminal for passenger transport and goods transport.

Today I visited a launch terminal. It is located next to the Buriganga River in Sadarghat, Dhaka. History testifies that the city of Dhaka was founded because of the Buriganga River. This launch terminal has a lot of importance in our communication system. It carries importance in transporting passengers and bringing goods to the southern region of the country.
The terminal authorities have made various arrangements to provide convenience to the passengers. So that the passengers can reach the terminal well, they have made arrangements to stop the cars in front of the terminal. There is a huge parking facility in front of the terminal that can accommodate hundreds of cars at the same time.

When entering the terminal, you have to buy a ticket and enter. Several counters have been set up for the convenience of buying tickets, so that the passengers can collect tickets very easily.
The terminal authorities have arranged for a lot of labor to carry the luggage of the passengers. Passengers take advantage of this facility by paying a certain price,
The terminal is very large and quite open. Due to this, even if there are many passengers, there is no special difficulty in reaching the specific launch.

Different types of launches travel to different areas. So that passengers can easily find their specific launch, they are lined up at the wharf in a row based on the area. In addition, the launch authorities have deployed some people who help the passengers.
The terminal authorities make emergency announcements at special times, so that everyone can hear these announcements, a microphone or speaker is installed every now and then.
Thousands of people move through the terminal every day. They need various kinds of food. For this, the terminal authorities have allowed many mobile shops to be set up, and passengers can collect their necessary food from these shops.
Cleanliness is a part of faith. With thousands of passengers, there is a possibility of dirt. Therefore, the terminal authorities have made arrangements to clean the terminal regularly.

I am personally a regular passenger on the launch. My home is in the Chandpur district, where I can go very easily by launch. That is why I have to come to this terminal almost every day. As always, the thing that I liked the most today is the discipline here. Thousands of people come and go through this terminal every day, hundreds of launches rush towards their destinations every day, but there is no chaos anywhere. Everyone does their own responsibilities on their own initiative. The volunteers who are there to monitor everything are also working tirelessly.

I have seen a tendency to fulfill responsibilities among everyone, due to which everyone is being managed in a system. That is, everything is within the discipline of the eyes, which bears the identity of professionalism. And this amazes me again and again.

A launch terminal has many launches of different companies, as well as many boats plying on the river. Their lives are varied. The people at the launch use different methods to call the passengers, sometimes using hand microphones to attract the passengers.

It is often seen that many passengers have reached the terminal after leaving the launch, the launch is in the middle of the river, in such a situation, they go near the launch with the help of a boat and collect it from the launch.
