Today I will write about one of the famous railway stations in our country, and I will pin this station on the Steem Atlas map. I hope everyone will like it.

This railway station is located in the Narayanganj district of the Dhaka division of our country. It is located on the banks of the Shitalakshya River. This railway station was opened on 4th January 1885.

It provides a good service to the city and the surrounding areas. This railway station was the famous and oldest railway station of the Pakistani and British eras, which is still in existence. The station was very important for jute traders in the past, especially since all the jute from Adamjee Jute Mill was sent abroad from this station.

As it was a very important station in ancient times, it was also a means of communication for trade. During the British era, Narayanganj was an old trading institution. And jute was one of these traders. Jute was exported abroad from this station by train. Now, since the jute industry is currently closed, this railway station exists for transportation. More than 30,000 people travel here by train every day.

For this train from Dhaka to Narayanganj, a train is running from Kamalapur Railway Station to Narayanganj Railway Station. This station is the easiest way to transport various types of goods from Dhaka to Narayanganj and from Narayanganj to Dhaka or its nearby areas. Thousands of people use this station every day and benefit a lot, and since the train route is much easier, everyone selects the train route for transportation.

This is an old railway station, so there is no modernity in this railway station.

The platform has a tin on top of the old platform, and these tins are also old. The platform is very crowded, and there are small food shops there.

There is a police station at this railway station for security. As there is a police station there, there are fewer crimes, and it inspires everyone to be safe.

The station looks quite beautiful with green grass. There are 4 lanes for train crossing where the engine is opened and turned towards the front.

There are some benches there to sit and rest or wait for the train; this is a special service for passengers.

There is a ticket counter; from this counter, you have to buy a ticket and board the train. To buy tickets, you need to buy tickets by serial number.

	Mosque

There is a beautiful mosque for Muslims here where they worship. This is a good service for Muslims.

From Narayanganj to Kamalapur, there are 7 stations. The ticket price for each station is 20 taka; you can go to any station for 20 taka. I buy tickets from there for 20 taka.

There are some old buildings where the staff live easily. There are also abandoned some buildings which are no longer functional, such as old houses make me interested.

Also, this station has been planned to be a new separate building and platform. Several new works have been started in all directions. In addition to the businessmen in Narayanganj, they travel by train from here to go to schools, colleges and various offices, so the plan to build a new station is seen as a good development for a beautiful environment and cleanliness.

There are a few bus counters near this station, but the scene of the train crossing and engine change at the station is interesting to everyone. Everyone becomes interested in seeing how the engine is removed, rotated and reinstalled.

There is 1 train on the Dhaka Narayanganj railway line, so the train leaves every 2 hours. Traveling by train is the best way because there is no tendency to be any jam here. It is easy to get up at the right time and reach the right time. The train runs from 5 am to 11 pm, and the station is open 24 hours a day.
