SLC31-W1: Shop & Share Challenge - Visit a Small Local Shop

I chose a local shop for the competition. This shop is a grocery store. All daily necessities are available here. The reason I chose this store is because it is a grocery store and it is located in my local area. If we talk about the location of this shop, then this shop is located in the Duet area of Gazipur district. It is located along Duet II Campus Road. Since it is located along the road, it takes very little time to reach here from my home. One of the reasons I chose it is that it is very close to me and the necessary groceries are available here.

Also, every corner of this store is filled with grocery products. All our daily necessities can be purchased here at very affordable prices. Whenever I come here to buy any necessary product, I find it very easily here. Their value was very limited by the standards of grocery products. Cleanliness is also maintained here. One of the reasons I chose this shop in particular is cleanliness, honesty, and good behavior. All in all, the products in this shop are imported and sold within a very short time. No expired products are sold here. So I chose this store for review.

My purchased polao rice and beef seasoning

I went to this store mainly to buy some groceries. Among the groceries, I bought rice and a spice here. I bought five kilograms of polao rice from this shop. At the same time, I purchased two packets of beef seasoning from this store. I purchased a total of two products from this store. I have clearly presented the price list of the two grocery items I purchased below.

The prices of other products in this store are also quite reasonable. The price of eggs here is not very high. The price of a dozen eggs was only 95 taka. Which was available at a very affordable price.

I was quite comfortable shopping at this store. Because I was able to purchase all the products at this store at very reasonable prices. Each product is sold at a very limited price. Also, I was very impressed with the attitude of the staff at this store. The store employee was proof of how to treat customers well as a business owner. I received good treatment from the shopkeeper even during my review.

I also really enjoyed the decoration of each product in the store. In particular, the grocery products and packaged goods here are presented in a very elegant manner. Full quality products and products from various brands were available here. I can say from my shopping experience that the products in this store can be purchased at very affordable prices. I was very impressed by the product's price and the seller's friendly behavior to attract buyers.

✓ What do you think the shop or store owner needs to do to expand his or her business and tell us if the business is lagging in patronage.

Rice

I only saw one employee exist in this store. In my opinion, the space of this shop should be increased.In particular, I noticed that there was very little space on the floor of this store. In my opinion, the space of this store should be increased. It is difficult for three to four customers to enter the store at a time. However, this small store is capable of fulfilling any grocery needs. However, if the store space is increased, customers will be able to shop here with ease. I will have some more suggestions for this shopkeeper. Importing enough products and hiring another employee to handle buyers. Because even though the store is small, it needs one more employee to handle the crowd of customers.

I also noticed several products in this store were out of stock. I think those products should be re-imported without limiting stocks. I have seen very small quantities of chickpeas, lentils and ankar dal here. In my opinion, the mentioned products should be imported quickly so that no buyer comes back to buy their required products. Additionally, this store can be presented in a more elegant manner by focusing on accessories to expand the business.
