Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week124: What I Think About The Book Reading Culture.
that books contain information that can change your life? If yes or no, back up your answer with valid points.
Yes, I truly believe that books can change your life. Books are like windows to new ideas and different ways of thinking. When you read, you learn things that you might never hear or see in your daily life. For me, reading helped me realize something very important: you don’t have to wait until you are older to have a voice or to stand out. Books showed me that being confident and speaking up early in life is very important for success. They teach you lessons about life, help you understand yourself better, and give you the courage to face challenges. Books can inspire you to dream bigger and work harder. They also help you learn from other people’s experiences, so you don’t have to make the same mistakes. Books are a source of self reliance it nurtures one educationally and makes the mind sound.
In short, books give you knowledge and strength that can change how you live and what you believe about yourself.
Books are more than just stories or facts; they are tools that help us grow and change. They teach us how to think, how to feel, and how to act. Reading regularly is like feeding your mind with good food that keeps it healthy and strong. It helps you become a better person, ready to face life’s challenges with courage and wisdom. For me, reading has been a journey of discovery and empowerment. It showed me that success starts with believing in yourself and using your voice. I believe everyone can benefit from reading because it opens doors to new opportunities and helps you become the best version of yourself.
Have you ever succeeded in completely reading a book you picked up at any point in your life? If yes, what were some of the lessons learned? If no, what was your challenge? |
|---|
Yes, I have read many books from start to finish. Since I am a literary student, reading books fully is part of my studies, and I have done this many times. Reading a whole book is not always easy because it takes time and focus. But finishing a book taught me some important lessons. First, it showed me how important it is to be patient and keep going, even when the book is difficult or long. It also helped me learn how to concentrate better. When you read a whole book, you get a full picture
If you are given an opportunity to recommend a book(s) that has blessed or benefited you, what book would that be? |
|---|
If I had to recommend one book that has helped me a lot, it would be Voice of Man by Mark Okono. This book is special because it talks about how important it is for every man to find his own voice and use it. It teaches that you don’t have to wait for the right time or for others to give you permission to speak up. The book encourages you to take control of your life and be confident in who you are. It gives practical advice on how to stand out and be heard in a world where many people feel invisible or ignored. The stories and lessons in the book inspired me to believe in myself more and to understand that my voice matters. Voice of Man is not just about speaking loudly; it’s about being true to yourself and making a positive difference in your life and the lives of others. This book has been a guide for me in building confidence and preparing for a successful future in becoming a real man.
