Planning the Day and Purpose of the Shoot

it started from knowing I had something important to do that day, because I already planned to go and snap moments from a football training session, and not just any training but one that involved my friends, so it already felt personal and worth showing up for, and from the beginning I had that mindset of capturing real moments, not just random shots, so while getting ready I was already thinking about how the whole session would look through my camera

Preparing My Camera and Getting Ready

before heading out, I took my time to arrange my camera and everything I needed, making sure I was fully prepared because I didn’t want to get there and start fixing things, and once I was done, I stepped out with that focus in mind, but on my way going I got stuck in traffic, and it slowed everything down, cars barely moving, people just waiting, and at that point I was just hoping I wouldn’t miss too much of the training before getting there

Rain and the Journey Experience

while still on the road, the weather started changing and it rained a bit, not too heavy but enough to affect the movement and the atmosphere, and somehow it added to the whole experience because it made everything feel more real, like one of those days where things don’t go perfectly smooth but still end up working out in the end

Arrival at the Location and First Impression

When I finally got to the location, the place had this calm and peaceful feeling, it was like a mini stadium kind of setup around the training ground, not too big but well arranged in its own way, and the environment looked quiet and balanced, not too crowded, just enough space to move around and focus on what I came to do without distractions as the training session was about to start, the players, including my friends, began warming up, doing light runs, stretches, and preparing their bodies, and that moment already showed the seriousness of the session.

Warm-Up Session Before Training

once the actual training started, the energy on the pitch changed, players moving faster, passing the ball, showing different skills, and trying out plays, and from behind my camera I kept snapping those moments, focusing on the action, the movement, and the little details that make football interesting, and even though it wasn’t a big crowd, the session still felt complete on its own

The Training Begins

the stadium itself was nice but not crowded, which actually made it easier to move around and capture different angles without stress, and the open space gave the whole training a relaxed feel, where everything flowed naturally without too much noise or pressure, and that made the shots come out even cleaner and more focused

The Stadium and Environment

As the training continued, you could see how it helped the players physically, the constant movement, the runs, the drills, everything working together to build strength and keep their bodies active, and even though it was a simple training session, it still carried that real football energy that made it enjoyable to watch and capture at the same time

How It All Ended

By the time everything was wrapping up, I had already taken a good number of shots, and looking back at the whole process from the traffic, the rain, getting to the calm environment, and finally capturing the training, everything just came together naturally, and it felt good knowing I was able to document those moments in a simple but meaningful way.
