Decisions and Consequences
Movie: Joker |
|---|
Sometimes a silent pain of a person turns into a storm. A moment's decision changes the whole world. The film Joker is a story of that pain, loneliness and judgment.
Arthur Flake was a man who was neglected in society. He used to laugh. But behind his laugh is a deep pain. He got no love and no respect. He only got ridicule and isolation.

Important decision:
There came a time when Arthur decided. He would not tolerate the cruelty any longer. But the path he chose is not right.
Instead of building strength. He turn his pain into violence and revenge. This turn out to be the most dangerous decision.
Consequences |
|---|
Disastrous consequences:
Arthur went from an innocent man to a dangerous "Joker".
His actions spread fear and also chaos throughout the city.
People took it as a symbol. It leading to further rebellion and destruction.
He lost his humanity. He was lost in darkness.
A harsh reality:
The apathy of the society is also played an important role in this end.
Had it been understood in time. The story might have been different.
Deep Lesson (Emotional Impact & Creativity):
This film not only tells us the story of one man. It leaves us with a question:
"Is evil born, or is it created?"
The decision of the Arthur is wrong. But the story behind it makes us think that
Every human decision has a story behind it. Every story should not be ignored.
Conclusion:
This movie teaches us that
Decisions not only change our lives. It also affect the lives of others.
If the decision is made in anger, pain and hatred. The results are only destruction.
What single decision in the movie changed everything? |
|---|
The One Decision That Changed Everything:
The most important and dangerous decision of Arthur Flack is that he chose to respond to his pain. He is suffering with violence.

Especially the moment when he kill the three people in the subway. It is the decision that completely change the course of his life.
After that he started to become a "Joker" from a normal person.
His action spread fear and confusion throughout the city.
He left behind his old identity. He adopted a dangerous persona.
This one decision not only led to the destruction of his own life. It also have a profound effect on the society.
What would you have done differently? |
|---|
If I were Arthur Flack I would not resort to violence in this situation.
I do this differently:
- I share my pain and problems with others like my friend and family members.
- I control my emotions. I choose the path of patience instead of anger.
- I try to improve myself. I change my life in a positive way. No matter how difficult the situation is.
Result:
Although circumstances of Arthur is very difficult. If he had taken the path of help and understanding instead of violence. His life might have been better instead of destroyed.
Did the characterโs choice feel right or wrong to you? And why? |
|---|
To me the decision of Arthur Flack is wrong. It is not enough to say it is wrong without fully understanding it.
Why was it wrong?
He responded to his pain and suffering with violence and murder. It cannot be justified under any circumstances.
His decision not only destroyed his own life. It also spread fear and chaos in the society.

- Instead of solving the problem. It made it worse.
But one important aspect:
- There is also the fact that Arthur is not the only one to blame.
- The apathy of the society , the attitude of the people and the constant neglect also brought him to this point.
Result:
His decision was definitely wrong. The violence never solves a problem.
But the film also teaches us that if we ignore the pain of a people. That pain can turn dangerous.
