Popular Opinion — Be Accurate and Convincing
Men are scum and Women and snakes and can't be trusted. Respond in a convincing way either for or against.
I completely disagree--calling all men scum and women untrustworthy snakes is horrible, unjust, and just plain false. We aren't men or women first--we are humans whose individual choices and experiences make up our personalities. Though people do commit acts of betrayal--and people of both sexes are guilty of this--countless women and men consistently show themselves to be loyal, loving, and reliable through their actions, and to ignore these examples for the sake of a general, prejudiced statement is both ridiculous and damaging.
These types of generalizations only serve to make individuals bitter, isolated, and resentful of an entire half of the human population for the actions of a few; they ignore good husbands, good boyfriends, good mothers, good sisters, and good friends around the world, to name just a few examples of the wonderful human beings with which our planet is populated.
Social media is bad and should not be used. It can change one's thinking negatively. Respond either for or against.
Overall, I'm not against social media altogether. Yes it can have harmful effects on our ability to think through information, its influence on comparative and addictive tendencies, etc.. But these aspects seem to stem from how social media is used, not its presence as an entity itself. I can see how the advantages of global connectivity, learning opportunities, and business advancements (previously unthinkable!) make social media relevant to our lives.
It would seem that fully abstaining from its usage could limit some great learning opportunities or communities to be involved in, rather that a benefit, it seems like a missed opportunity to embrace new and unique experiences. I think a more beneficial alternative is establishing digital discipline; not scrolling blindly through a meaningless feed and always questioning what is seen and read. Social media, like all useful tools, has its potential dangers, but these must not outweigh the advantages it also holds if used with discipline and intentionality; elimination is not a worthwhile goal here, simply intelligent usage.
Messi is better than Ronaldo.. Respond for or against. My answer is Messi is better than Ronaldo.
Sure, Messi is superior to Ronaldo on many accounts. Messi's pure talent, vision and play-making is unparalleled. He is not only a goal scorer but a creator, controlling the game's pace as easily as he dribbles the ball, which is second to none. Ronaldo may be the hardest-working and physically most powerful player on the pitch, but Messi's genius seems to come instinctively. He has proven time and again to be the man for big occasions and lifting his team as a whole to a higher level. Messi's number of Ballon d'Or awards as well as his world cup trophy further reinforce this claim. In conclusion, Messi's genius in all aspects of the game makes him the better player.
Marrying a rich woman would bring equality and disrespect in a marital home of two [couple]. Respond for or against. You must be convincing.
I don't agree that marrying a wealthy woman inevitably means a loss of respect for a successful marriage. Character, Communication and shared goals bring respect, not wealth. There is nothing to stop a wealthy woman showing her husband the respect that any loving wife would. Indeed the situation might relieve financial pressure on the husband and increase life opportunities. There should be nothing to fear in achieving equality within marriage and it is this partnership that brings respect, not fear. Where problems may occur it is due to insecurity, lack of communication, not due to differing earnings levels. The real partnership defines their roles and support one another's decisions; it's a partnership that's grounded on trust, not on cash.
