It's my birthday: I was Born on a Sunday!

Introduction

Hi my lovely friends on Steemit, it feels good to be here after a long while. It is a remarkable day for me and I can't hold back.

It's my birthday, my people. I feel so excited. That's why I couldn't hold back the excitement but to come to share with you. This is especially because I was born on a Sunday and this year's birthday falls on a Sunday. That alone spiked my joy. Can you guess my age if you count 10th May backwards to a particular one that fell on a Sunday like today? You can take that on yourself.

Marking a new year in my life is usually a beautiful time for me to thank my maker and also reflect on my life so far and how far God has helped me. For me, life is a privilege and that's why I find time to tell God thank you. At every second or minute I realise that I'm still alive, but I take a special moment to thank him on my birthdays.

Today is a very happy day for me because I remember what happened to me on my birthday 4 years ago, precisely 2022. I ate, went to bed like everyone, but in the midst of my beautiful sleep, I noticed I couldn't breathe well. I tried to open my eyes to observe if it was a dream. Hell no! It wasn't a dream but reality. Immediately, I noticed my breathing was almost stopping. I forcefully woke up and rushed to the sitting room, shouted and called on my husband and my mother, who was around at the time, as I had just given birth to my daughter.

Before anyone could realise anything, my body went numb and cold, but I managed to breathe in but breathing out was difficult. In all of these, God saw me through. It started as a stomach ache in the daytime and then resulted in difficulty in breathing.

Today, after 4 years, I am still here. The mercies of God kept me, His love preserved me and His grace has brought me this far.
