What does it mean to "Dare To Be Different"

"Dare to be Different" means doing something different from others. In simple terms, as stated in my profile, it means separating myself from the crowd and being the master of my faith. Working in my own ideology, standing for myself, instead of following the crowd to do what they are doing. It is more like making a personal decision that affects me alone.

Have you ever dared to be different? If yes, share with us your experience.

Yes I have ever dared to be different; there was a time during my service year that I told myself that I dared to myself that I want to be different from others. The school that I served was a local school then which we planned on developing the school's small a least before the end of our service year.

At the beginning, we all agreed on supporting the school as a team which included issues of money that would be raised and whose name would be on the things we would do for the school. Seeing all of that I dared myself to be different and I single handedly to some of the projects which at the end of the day those who were making mouths couldn't do anything.

Did you maintain your stand to the end by being different or did you join others eventually?

I maintain my stand to the end by being different from others without joining them. I wanted to join them, but when I discovered the issue of ownership, support, and so on, I decided to maintain my stand to the end.

Do you think daring to be different is always worth it?

Well, it's not always worth it, but there are some circumstances where daring to be different is worth it. Like me, I am someone that beloved in himself, values his peace of mind and integrity, and I like doing things alone rather than in a group.

In a situation where one peace is at stake, or the person isn't satisfied with what others are doing then the person should do something different from others.
